You may have noticed that ragdoll image I've had in my gallery for quite some time now, which was captured in a ragdoll physics engine I created in pascal some years back.
Well I thought I'd revitalize the project and move it over to flash. This is what I've made so far. You can play around with the gravity and pose the ragdoll using your mouse. This is only a preview and I've started on creating a method of animating the limbs by capturing the poses. This engine is also highly customizable, that is it isn't limited to just humans, but it takes quite a while to set all the properties for a ragdoll. For example the force transfer ratio on this ragdoll is based upon the real weight of various human limbs.
